About Marshall
Local experience. Public service.
I’m standing as an independent candidate for Mayor and Councillor of the Huon Valley. I’ve lived here for nearly 40 years, taught in local schools on and off for more than 20 years, and spent decades umpiring football here and across Tasmania.
Before professional life, I worked as a shearer, truck driver, farm hand, salesman, oil-rig worker and powder monkey. I later earned degrees across political science, education and social work, and worked in public services and government.
My campaign discusses practical council services, opportunities for young people, sensible development and value for ratepayers. My full campaign speech and updates are available on my Facebook Page.
